I listen to podcasts by Elisabeth Elliot & I'm so thankful that even though she no longer lives, her words and wisdom continue on. There's something I've been struggling with and these following words (paraphrased) are helpful to me today, and I can trust that the Lord will give me the help I need tomorrow and every other day that I deal with it.
For things I struggle with & don't know what to do about, instead of trying to handle them, I can hand them over...to God, who knows best the way to handle it and will help me walk through it. Surrendering to the Lord, the problem then becomes material for sacrifice and God gives joy in the midst of pain and strength to endure it.
